The Portrait Project is an ongoing photographic project that celebrates female and gender non-conforming bodies as an act of defiance. In a culture that teaches us to hide, shrink, and distort ourselves, this project invites subjects to reclaim their image. Through the lens of the camera, we reframe what we’ve been taught to feel ashamed of—offering radical self-acceptance as a form of protest and a pathway to healing.
